Best five phones for snapchatters

Sharing is Caring

You will agree with me that one cannot talk about social life without mentioning the media aspect of it. Whatever you do with your social life, you may want to share with family and friends and this done is through social media. Being it your campus life, Fashion, lifestyle, events (party, birthday, wedding, funeral, outdooring, pool parties etc.) relationship, entertainment, showbiz, sports and perhaps Traveling.
Snapchat has taken the social media world by storm and if you want to get the most out of it, you’re going to need a phone that has great cameras on both the front and back, and ideally a good screen too, so you can see other people’s snaps in all their glory.
That can be a big ask, but there are a number of handsets that fit the bill and misociallife.com has listed the best options for you below.
So read on, see which phone you most like the sound of and get Snapchatting.

The HTC U12 Plus makes this list mostly because it has two front-facing cameras, which is something you don’t see all that often.
They’re both 8MP and combined allow for both a decent portrait mode and wide-angle shots, so you can fit a lot more in your snaps than with most front-facing cameras. The HTC U12 Plus also has a dual-lens rear camera, specifically a 12MP and 16MP pair, and with both optical and electronic image stabilisation it’s a strong choice for shooting video.
It also has a massive 6.0-inch screen, that’s sharp at 1440 x 2880. That’s not quite the biggest or best screen you’ll find on this list, but it’s close, and really takes Snapchat viewing to another level.

The iPhone XS (along with the iPhone XS Max) is the best phone Apple has ever made, which also makes it one of the very best phones from any company. For Snapchat purposes it’s not quite the best, but it’s up there.
It has just a single-lens 7MP front-facing camera, but it’s packed full of sensors and tech, allowing it to effectively judge depth for a powerful Portrait Mode. Around the back meanwhile you get a 12MP dual-lens camera with both wide-angle and telephoto lenses, making it versatile and a great choice for all sorts of Snapchat-worthy shots. And Snapchat looks great on its 5.8-inch 1125 x 2436 Super AMOLED screen with almost no bezels. All of this is true of the iPhone X too, but the XS is a small step up in a number of relevant ways, such as having a better True Tone flash to light up your photos.

The Google Pixel 3 XL is an improvement on the Pixel 2 XL in a number of ways, but nowhere more than its selfie camera, making it a much stronger choice for Snapchat. The main improvement there comes in the addition of an extra lens. Now, instead of one front-facing lens, there are two, with both an 8MP f/1.8 normal camera and an 8MP f/2.2 wide-angle one. That wide-angle lens is great for making sure you can fit big groups in your shots.
But the Pixel 3 XL is packed full of other handy features too which could aid your Snapchat experience. For example, there’s a ‘Top Shot’ mode which will take a burst of images then intelligently select the best one, and with ‘Super Res Zoom’ you can zoom in without losing sharpness.
The Google Pixel 3 XL also has a top quality 12.2MP rear camera, packed full of all the features you’d expect, including a Portrait Mode and optical image stabilization.
And any Snapchat snaps you send or receive will look great on its big, bright and sharp 6.3-inch 1440 x 2960 P-OLED screen.

2. Huawei Mate 20 Pro

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has great snappers on both front and back, so it’s no wonder it ranks so high. There’s a triple-lens configuration on the rear of the phone, giving you a 40MP f/1.8 main lens, a 20MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens. That makes for a very versatile setup, especially when you factor in its 5x optical zoom.
It’s also one of the most capable camera phones for low light shooting, so you can get Snapchat-worthy shots outside at night or in dimly lit rooms.
Flip the Huawei Mate 20 Pro over and the front camera isn’t quite as impressive but it’s still better than most, as it’s a 24MP one, allowing you to take seriously detailed selfies.
And the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is great for viewing Snapchat on too, thanks to its big 6.39-inch 1440 x 3120 AMOLED screen, giving you a large, sharp and vibrant viewing area.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is likely to be one of the best phones of 2019 and it certainly looks set to be one of the best for Snapchat.
That’s largely because it has multiple lenses on both the front and back. There are three on the back – a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide one, a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto one and a 12MP one which can switch between apertures of f/1.5 and f/2.4. As such it’s very versatile, especially as two of those lenses have optical image stabilisation (OIS) to help keep your shots in focus.
But on top of that there are two lenses on the front – a 10MP f/1.9 one and an 8MP f/2.2 one. This, among other things, allows for improved depth sensing, which can help with portrait shots.
Cameras aside, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus also has perhaps the best screen ever put on a phone. It’s a 6.4-inch 1440 x 3040 Dynamic AMOLED one which should make pictures and videos on Snapchat – and everywhere else – look absolutely gorgeous.

To conclude, you won’t go wrong with any of these phones if Snapchat is your priority, as they all have great cameras on both the front and back and good screens.

They’re also all strong phones for general use, making them great options even when you’re not snapping, though both in and out of Snapchat some are better than others.
